Shotsy vs MeAgain vs GLPEats: Which GLP-1 App Helps You Eat?
Last checked against each app's website on September 29, 2026.
Shotsy and MeAgain are GLP-1 trackers. They log doses, injection sites, side effects, weight and food. Neither lists recipes on its website. GLPEats is a recipe app: it picks high-protein meals you can tolerate today based on nausea, appetite and how long you've been on the medication, and it does not track your medication at all. Many people will want one of each.
Most GLP-1 apps answer the question "what did I take, and how did I feel?" That's useful. It's also a different question from the one you face at 6pm with no appetite and an open fridge. This page compares two popular trackers with GLPEats, which is built for that second question. We make GLPEats, so read the table as our summary of what each company says on its own website, and check the App Store listing before you download anything.

Shotsy
Shotsy is a medication tracker. Its site lists weekly dose history, injection-site rotation, side effects, weight charts, protein and calorie logging, water, and titration planning, plus a PDF export you can bring to your prescriber. The site says core features are free, with premium tools on top. It doesn't describe recipes or meal suggestions. shotsyapp.com
MeAgain
MeAgain also tracks shots, side effects and weight, and goes further on food logging: photo, voice, barcode or search, with protein, fiber and water goals. It includes an AI companion for GLP-1 questions and a premium tier. Its site mentions a personalized nutrition plan but doesn't describe recipes. meagain.com
GLPEats
GLPEats starts from the food. Tell it whether today is a rough day, a low-appetite day or a normal one, and it shows recipes filtered by texture, fat, spice and effort, with protein grams up front. Tap "I made this" and the protein is logged. There is no dose tracking, on purpose. It's an iOS app launching soon, priced at $7.99 a week or $69.99 a year with a 2-week free trial on the annual plan.
You can try some of the recipes now, free: browse GLPEats recipes.
Which one should you use?
If your main problem is remembering doses and spotting side-effect patterns, pick a tracker. If your main problem is that nothing sounds good and your protein is falling short, a recipe app does more for you. Plenty of people have both problems. In that case, keep your tracker for the shot and use GLPEats for meals. They don't overlap much.
